You see evil growing instead of weakening? Do not worry. Close your eyes and say to me with faith: “Thy will be done, You take care of it”. I say to you that I will take care of it, and that I will intervene as does a doctor and I will accomplish miracles when they are needed. Do you see that the sick person is getting worse? Do not be upset, but close your eyes and say “You take care of it”. I say to you that I will take care of it, and that there is no medicine more powerful than my loving intervention. By my love, I promise this to you.
O Jesus, I surrendered myself to you, take care of everything! (10 times)

Something to consider

We do see evil growing, and we easily think God doesn’t care enough to save us. There is no aspect of suffering that Jesus does not understand. Lisa Brekemeyer writes in her daily devotion for women, “Surrender does not come naturally to us. We want to save ourselves and place our trust in our own capabilities, but we will come up short every time. We must wrestle these matters out of our own hands and surrender control of everything into His loving hands. Think about it, I cannot control, nor do I have any influence in what is happening in the Ukraine with Russia. I can’t cure cancer. I have no medical expertise. There is no medicine more powerful than the loving intervention of our God. Why do we refuse to give it all to Him?

All day, as your concerns rise to the surface as the headlines scream at us, and as the news causes us anxiety and fear; we must close our eyes and say, “You take care of it,” and leave it there with the Lord.

The Lord just keeps giving me so many opportunities to give things over to Him, to surrender. It is a very important lesson to learn not just in the big scary things but even the little day by day things
